Fresh from the farm, full of flavour
We've partnered with Kasper Hoex from De Groente Amsterdammer, on a farm located just 25km from our kitchen in Amsterdam, to bring you the freshest, finger licking good veggies you could dream of.
Kasper focuses on regenerative farming practices which means there’s no pesticides and no fertilisers. Meanwhile the land is fed with organic manure and compost while cows roam the land “pruning”.
What does all of this mean? Our products are fresh, local and in season aka higher in nutrients, vitamins and minerals, bigger in flavour and lower in footprint than ever before!
Our produce is harvested in the morning and delivered in the afternoon it doesn’t get fresher than that!
Embracing seasonality
Our menus, produce and products available are in season and harvested just down the road. Produce grown when it’s supposed to be, in the conditions it’s supposed to have simply tastes better! So we savour the strawberries in spring, get excited by zucchini’s in summer, we indulge in the roots in winter and then we wait until next year.

We believe in supporting local agriculture and minimising our environmental impact. Optimising reusable packaging, eradicating plastic and sourcing regenerative produce, which is grown in season.
Local produce means partnerships with our suppliers, ensuring fair pricing and a transparent, fair supply chain. Less miles travelled, less energy used during production and higher nutritional value. It's a delicious way to nourish yourself while nurturing the planet.
Alex is also deeply committed to promoting a circular, zero-waste approach with her business. Every part of the produce is used, turning radish leaves into pesto, celery tops into stock and the final green waste (which inevitably there will be some) gets turned to compost and delivered back to the soil from which it came.
